Sketches by William Hard of scenes in Manchester, N.H., done on a trip to the city in 1861 and 1863. They include images of the State Reform School; the City Farm and House of Corrections; the residence of Charles W. Rowell on River Road; Amoskeag Bridge from Rock Reymond [sic]; View of Rock Reymond; Uncanoonuc Mountain from Rock Reymond; unidentified Manchester house. There is also a photo of the artist. This collection is made up of photographic copies of the sketches, taken from the artist's sketchbook, which remains in private hands. The sketchbook included other images, not of Manchester.
