Description View of Granite Square and Clapp Block 340-350 Granite Street and 14-20 South Main Street, West Manchester Looking south. An example of a three story wooden second empire architecture with mansard and hipped roof, dormers and tower. Several signs identify the businesses in the building, they are on the first floor Caldwell Sisters; W. B. Mitchell, Apothecary; Charles Thompson, Watchmaker and Jeweler; G. L. Robinson Boots and Shoes and Barr and Clapp. On the second floor signs for Charles T. Newman and Dr. Gillis Stark are seen - circa 1880's.
