View of the home of Henry Chandler, known as "Ray Brook". The house was razed in 1905 by C. B. Manning and the present Manning House was built and named the Brook. In 1958, the property was deeded to the Franklin Street Congregational Church and a new church building was built connected to the house. The church was renamed Brookside Congregational Church. See MHAGN 300.

Reuben Dodge - 2nd Lieutenant, Civil War - 6951
Portrait of Reuben Dodge (1820-1879). Mr. Dodge served as a 2nd Lieutenant in the Civil War. He was commissioned as an officer in Company C, New Hampshire 1st Heavy Artillery Regiment on September 8, 1864. Mustered out on 15 June 1865 at Washington, D.C. He was an overseer of tenements for the Amoskeag and in 1871 lived at 100 Concord Street, Manchester.
