View of the # 11 Mill Extension construction and the excavation of the Cloth Store House Central Division looking south west. In the foreground to the left railroad tracks are visible that separate the Cotton Store House and the Cloth Store House. To the right of the tracks excavation and the laying of the foundation is in evidence, bricks are being off loaded from a flat car by a crane into the site of the Cloth Store House. To the right, the # 11 Mill Extension can be seen scaffolding surrounds the building where walls and windows are being framed in. In the background from left to right is the north west corner of the Boiler House and Chimney, followed by the Pattern House, and Foundry, behind the Pattern House to the left is the north east corner of the Lumber Shed and behind the Foundry to the left is part of the top floor and roof of the north east corner of the Wood Shop. Several construction workers can be seen throughout the site performing various tasks. |
